Application

LE Furnaces are suitable for laboratory testing in which exact temperature distribution,  controlled increase and decrease of temperature, and controlled cooling are important, and where it is also desirable that the heating elements are not in the interior space with the samples. The LE is especially good for  heating material for the heat treatment of metal, various tests of sintering, calcination, determination of the softening point or of material sintering, combusting samples, enamel firing etc. The LE standard design features heating spirals which are placed in silica glass tubes to protect the spirals from corrosion by aggressive materials which can be released during treatment of the charge. It also includes an HT60B controller and a slide valve for opening the air supply, an airing flue and a special rust-resistant coating. 

Standard design of the LE furnace includes:

* manual door opening downwards with a safety limit switch

* HT60B programmable controller

* heating elements inside protective  silica tubes

* slide valve for opening the air supply

* airing chimney flue

Optional accessories for additional charge include:

* upgrade to PID controller HT 40P

* exhaust ventilator with a draft damper (only with HT40P controller)

* enhancement of the controller with RS 232 or RS 485 PC communication line (Monitoring SW Ht Monit optional)
